About The Role

The Wholesale Account Specialist will make a significant contribution to our Wholesale division. You’ll lead multiple existing customer accounts whilst implementing and executing a commercial development plan. In this role you are expected to deliver sales, volume, profit and margin targets through joint business planning and growing new and existing accounts.

 

This role is a mix of working from our fantastic head office in Bradford and out in the field at our stores. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Grow existing and new customer accounts, ensure profitable and provide outstanding customer service

  • Challenge Trading, Manufacturing, Supply and Logistics to develop new initiatives to increase sales and drive penetration

  • Work with Logistics to ensure a smooth delivery and collection process

  • Build and maintain cross functional relationships 

  • Review end of day KPI’s

  • Investigate and process claims

  • Develop and improve processes to increase efficiency

  • Maximise commercial performance

  • Commercial and financial understanding for costing of goods and services

  • Proven track records of working cross functionally

  • Proven track record of consistent delivery against set KPIs (sales, margin, and profit)

  • Ability to use market data and turn it into commercial opportunities

  • Customer focus and ability to have difficult conversations

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Positive attitude with a passion for outstanding customer service

  • Ability to define and implement change
