Import Planner - Raw Material

• Managing all inbound stock movement for the category in line with category targets, buyer targets & manufacturing planning
• You'll continuously review opportunities for business improvement and efficiencies
• Attend all weekly, monthly and seasonal meetings, ensuring all analysis and reports required are completed
• Manage and update internal stock & sales to reflect stock movement
• Working closely with the Buying Manager you'll analyse the performance of the category & identify issues & right solutions for improvements
• Successfully manage and plan the most appropriate route for a shipment
• To manage all deliveries to manufacturing or final destination obtaining, checking & preparing all documentation for custom clearance – travel documents
• Co-ordinate consolidation services by air, sea & road, ensuring a cost effective process. 
• Work closely with external freight agents to manage movement of stock and negotiate costs
• Arrange any required courier and specialist carry services

• Advanced level knowledge of Excel with excellent stakeholder management ability 
• Strong geographical knowledge  
• Strong understanding of Grocery Suppliers Code Of Practice and a proven track record in compliance
• An analytical thinking with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances  
• The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders 
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail  
• Previous experience in a  Planning role is essential
