The Social Media Specialist will join our Customer and Marketing team in Hilmore House. In this role you will be reporting into the Social Media Manager, working to support the ideation, creation and posting of content across Morrisons organic and paid social channels.
You will primarily be responsible for planning and briefing to creative agencies, ensuring we are creating engaging social-first content to support wider business objectives. This will entail being highly organised and having a great eye for detail.
You will have autonomy with stakeholders across our Customer and Marketing Teams to drive action, as well as maintaining relationships with key external suppliers.
It is important that you feel confident using social media tools to create content where needed, as well as having basic analytical skills for post-campaign analysis.
This role is based at our fantastic head office in Bradford. Boasting an on-site restaurant, coffee shop, convenience and sample store, prayer room, free parking and regular company-wide events and promotions. Ideally, applicants will live within a reasonable distance of our office.
As a Social Media Specialist you’ll be accountable for things like;

Ideation, briefing and creation of social-first content to support key customer moments annually

Using social media platforms confidently to create content to support organic channel plans

Continually reviewing performance, including weekly reporting using social listening tools to gain post-campaign insight and analysis

Managing briefing and amends process on addressable paid social and organic channels

Developing relationships with internal stakeholders to discover new product and event opportunities

Frequently managing deadlines to ensure content is delivered on time and to a high standard. Inclusive of liaising with internal stakeholders across the business to seek sign off.

Writing engaging copy for social channels, relevant to the platform

Support in the development of a colleague ambassador scheme, continuing to engage internal stakeholders

Stay updated on the latest social media trends, identify and recommend new opportunities to enhance social content

Actively participate in a high performing, engaged team – championing team work and contributing to team tasks.
