About The Role

At Morrisons Manufacturing, our Technical / Quality team plays a crucial role in ensuring food safety and legal compliance across our sites. Our fast-paced, high-standard environment means our team is always on the go, ensuring we meet the rigorous demands of the food industry.

As a Technical Quality Analyst, reporting to the Technical Shift Manager, you will:

Monitor, control, and audit the production process to maintain our high standards
Ensure that both conformity and non-conformity issues are clearly communicated, followed up, and resolved
Investigate any food safety incidents using root cause analysis, ensuring the site’s technical function runs smoothly day-to-day
Support the site management team during external audits and accreditations, including BRC and Morrisons manufacturing standards
Assist the production team with the launch of new product lines, ensuring technical support throughout the process
This role is essential in keeping our operations compliant and ensuring the safety and quality of the products we produce

About You

As well as a keen eye for detail you will also need:

The confidence to challenge with a proactive and ‘can do’ attitude
To be a team player and an effective communicator
Good PC skills (especially Google)
Food experience in a technical or similar type role.
A HACCP qualification or a food safety qualification (ideally)

Our purpose-built facility in Gadbrook manufactures, packs and distributes vegetables all from under one roof.

Here at our vegetable pack house, we prepare 29.5 million packs of potatoes and 120,000 tonnes of carrots every year, our 250 colleagues work a 6 day operation, getting everything ready for 90 of our stores.
