What will I do as a Junior Buyer ?
- To assist the Buyer/Senior Buyer in planning, sourcing and negotiating a commercial and competitively priced product range across all channels.
- Be accountable for a given category including strategy, product range, performance and quality working alongside the merchandising team with guidance from the Buyer.
- Proactively be involved in the department strategy, helping to develop and build a commercial product range that reflects
the Nutmeg brand strategy.
- To deliver a commercial and competitive range for the given category whilst ensuring that the brand standards in both quality and value are maintained.
- Establish key working relationships with Merchandising, Design, Technical teams and suppliers.
- To maximise sales and profit for given category within the product department to meet agreed targets through strong negotiation and development of global supplier relations.
- You'll constantly reviewing sales and identifying opportunities and risk whilst seeking guidance
from the Senior Buyer/Buyer.
