Management Accountant - Colne

We are recruiting for a Central Reporting Accountant at it’s manufacturing site in Colne. The role will provide critical support to our Meat Accounting Team, preparing weekly P&L Consolidation for the 3 sites, and completing group reporting. The role will report into the meat division Finance manager and will be central to driving improved reporting and group results.

This role will involve:

• Preparation of weekly P&L and consolidation across 3 sites.

• Weekly P&L Pack preparation.

• Insight & Analysis for Site General Managers.

• Provide cover for 2 Site Accountants on Yield and Cost Control.

• Month End Journals and reconciliation.

• Other Adhoc Projects

• A professional qualification of CIMA, ACA, ACCA, AAT or equivalent

• Knowledge of financial and management accounting

• Attention to detail

• An ability to deliver in a complex, fast paced environment

• Excellent analytical thinking and numerical skills

• Excellent Microsoft Excel or Google sheets skills

• Good verbal communication skills, ability to articulate financial data in a clear and transparent way

• Resilience and ability to adapt in an ever changing environment

• Experience of stakeholder management

• Experience of having to prioritise to meet deadlines
