About The Role

Reporting to the Housekeeping Coordinator, you will work as a member of the Housekeeping Team to ensure high quality standards are observed within our large office.

Hours of work will be evenings and weekends.

Our Facilities team are dedicated to ensuring that our Head Office is a highly presentable, clean and safe place to work and visit.

Responsibilities;

  •  Provide an efficient and friendly service at all times         

  •   Maintain excellent cleaning standards throughout the building         

  •   Replenishment and upkeep of consumables     

  •  Support the facilities team function when running large events, including moving and storing of equipment, furniture stock and signage   

  •   Health & Safety adherence with Good Housekeeping practices   

  •   Using machinery (with training)

About You

  • The ability to be flexible and a good team player

Our Facilities team is a tightly-knit group of professionals who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the smooth operation of our bustling workplace.

From the hardworking Housekeeping staff who meticulously maintain the cleanliness and organisation of every area over 4 floors, to the skilled chefs who create delicious meals in our canteen, and the friendly reception staff who set the welcoming tone for everyone who enters the building – our team are all flexible, dedicated and committed to delivering great service.

Our days start early, the first of the team start at 5 AM, and we work well into the evening, as late as 9:30 PM. This flexibility is a testament to our unwavering dedication to keeping the office areas and building running smoothly around the clock. We know that the success of Morrisons depends on the tireless efforts of our wider team.

Speaking of the wider team, we are a vital part of an 80+ member workforce. Our facilities team extends beyond the visible roles of reception and front of house. We power the kiosk, manage catering services, oversee the coffee bar, handle warehouse operations, maintain housekeeping standards and maintenance, manage goods-in, and ensure the efficient functioning of the mailroom.

Our ultimate goal is to support our colleagues who work in the office, totaling around 1500 individuals each day. We understand the importance of our role in creating an environment where they can thrive. Through our hard work and commitment, we keep all service areas in the building operational, ensuring that our colleagues can focus on their tasks without any interruptions.
