We’re recruiting for a Catering Team Manager at our Distribution Centre, who will be required to manage a catering team ensuring they deliver great service to their customers and perform to a high level in order to meet customer demands.
The focus will be to develop, organise and lead your catering team from the front, to ensure that you consistently achieve excellent standards in food quality, food hygiene, productivity and service.
The role will involve the following:-
- Leading a team of Canteen Assistants in preparing hot and cold food for employees
- Prepare meals and participate in the cooking process
- Assisting in a variety of food audits, including pest control, BRC, food hygiene, and food safety
- Ensure that food ingredients are ordered and delivered in a timely manner
- Contributing to the selection and variety of menu items
- Managing all aspects of training and development within the team
