We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Shift Manager to oversee the handling of Fresh products at our logistics site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse operatives and Team Managers ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse during their designated shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and safe handling of fresh products.
- Plan and organise daily shift operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management through regular stock checks and audits.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
- Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as transportation and inventory management, to optimise warehouse processes and meet operational goals.
- Handle any issues or concerns that arise during the shift, including customer inquiries or delivery delays.
