About The Role

We’re looking for someone to join the wholesale team as a Deliveroo Account Manager at Hilmore House in Bradford, on a full-time permanent basis. This role will involve working your full time hours over 4 days a week. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the online team. 

This role will manage the day to day operations of the Deliveroo commercial account. Develop effective processes that enable the efficient delivery of the agreed joint business plan including forward store expansion, seasonal range activation whilst delivering the sales, volume, profit and margin targets. Responsibilities include building and maintaining the customer relationship, engaging and influencing internal & external stakeholders and simplifying processes for the team to achieve results and deliver consistently against agreed service levels. Work hand in hand with the field operations team and manage central team. Maintain your safe and legal training as set out in ‘My Learning’ and follow any additional Competition Law guidelines that may be shared.

You'll be responsible for things like this in the role;
  • Challenge Trading, Manufacturing, Supply and Logistics to
    develop new initiatives to increase sales, drive penetration and
    improve customer perception of Morrisons brand.
  • Ensure customer complaints and issues are collected,
    reviewed and addressed as necessary.
  • Ensure the right operational support structure is in place. Gain
    buy in from senior management to ensure Morrisons can
    deliver the joint plan.
  • Build and maintain cross functional relationships to ensure
    business decisions do not negatively impact the Wholesale
  • Work closely with the operational team to build knowledge of
    the store pick model and commercial implications.
  • Manage the process that enables range change to be
    implemented effectively with no disruption to supply.
  • Continually develop and improve processes to increase
  • Ensure all colleagues are aligned to delivering great customer
    service 100% of the time.
  • Create the framework to maximise data accuracy within our
    Sales, Profit and Cash
  • Maximise the commercial performance of the Deliveroo
  • Grow sales and expand stores in line with agreed plan.
  • Manage product mix and operational productivity.
  • Delivery of sales, volume, profit and margin targets
  • Consistency of service levels and operational metrics against agreed targets
  • Development & sharing of category insight
  • Dealing with any problems that occur
  • Operational Productivity

About You

You’ll need knowledge, skills and experience like these to be a success:
Commercial and financial understanding.
Retail / wholesale/ convenience grocery market knowledge. 
Proven track record of consistent delivery against set trading KPIs (sales, margin, and profit).
Strong negotiation skills. 
Ability to build strong internal and external relationships at all levels with the ability to influence.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent organisational skills.
Ability to use market data and turn it into commercial opportunities.  
Ability to define, implement and manage change. 
Commercial experience with profit and loss accountability. 
Strong track record of delivering joint business plans. 
Experience of working in fast paced environment with lots of change.
