About The Role

Our estate of Properties are critical to ensuring we can be ‘at our best’ as foodmakers and shopkeepers.

As Property Manager, Data, Insight & Analytics in the Maintenance support function you will lead the relationship with system providers to ensure knowledge and technology processes are robust to provide available and maintained data. Accountable for sharing the insight into the capability of our systems and sets functionality in line with agreed operational processes and system limitations. 

The role will drive a culture of being data driven and analytical across the department, responsible for planning resources to deliver key information. 

A key part of the role will be liaising with stakeholders to understand their data requirements in order to data and information sets for analysis to meet the needs of our customers in a timely and accurate manner.

The Manager will develop a high performing team which uses centrally coordinated structure, communication and ways of working and ensures consistency to problem solving, report writing and innovation. 

We have a fantastic head office base in Bradford, easily accessible from Leeds and surrounding areas. Boasting a large on site restaurant, coffee shop, convenience store, prayer room, free parking and regular company wide events and promotions.

Ideally, applicants will live within a reasonable distance of our office as whilst there will be some home working, our Managers are at the heart of the action and their office presence is really important - you’ll be the face of your team and specialism.

Our teams benefit from working a ‘4 day week’, this hugely successful change to our working patterns has seen an enhancement in work life balance, we want you to always be ‘at your best’ so your day off will be just that, we know that our teams work hard, so want them to enjoy their 3 days off a week.

There is also a requirement to work 13 Saturdays Feb-Feb, these days are shorter - 6 hours - and are generally used for team meetings, project planning and strategic work.

Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive)

  • Line manager to the Data, Insight & Analytics team in the Maintenance support function

  • Maintain our systems, system configuration and user upkeep

  • Use technology to set ways of working and to manage workflows within the maintenance operation 

  • Ensure system processes are robust to provide available and maintained data

  • Lead for managing, controlling and improving our operation through insight and analysis

  • Translate stakeholder needs for data/information into real deliverables for use in decision making

  • Provide excellent reporting and respond to priority issues affecting our customer offering 

  • Identify and implement ways to improve our ways of working to deliver a customer benefit through data and process

  • Set communication methods to support trade and operations

  • Delegates requirements to the skills within the team to achieve success

  • Deliver training and updates to develop our people and educate individuals on correct ways of working and processes

  • Drive a growth culture and a high performing team

  • Build and utilise internal and external relationships to improve data insight

  • Deliver regular BAU reporting structures

  • Implement a strategic and service improvement reporting structure to share project requests/longer term analysis views

  • Ensure accuracy and quality in data and analysis

  • Provide analysis linked to commercial information

  • Share future potential improvements in systems and reporting with key stakeholders to make decisions on implementation

  • Create models with commercial targets and routes to review costs 

About You


  • Retail / Facilities / Engineering background 

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and IBM Cognos (or equivalent)

  • People management experience, has lead and coached others to success 

  • Qualification in maths/stats/data/science (desirable)

  • Understanding of asset maintenance and service delivery (desirable)

  • A background within a fast paced environment, large organisation with lots of change

  • Experience in managing systems, processes, data and analysis

  • CAFM (Verisae) system experience and knowledge of technical/software systems and tools within the built environment and wider data analysis industry

  • Exposure to query writing, coding and report building

  • An engaging, approachable team player with a passion for insight and improvements
