About The Role

We have an exciting new job for a New Product Development (NPD) Specialist to join our Team at our Winsford Manufacturing Site

About the Job

In this role you will ensure the NPD and Existing Product Development (EPD) end to end processes are completed, on time and in full for the site. The successful candidate will work together with the retail teams towards meeting the briefs.

Your main responsibilities will be managing the process from Concept to Launch for all projects and be the first point of contact for the Head Office based retail teams.

Strong communication skills & good project management skills are vital to keep all projects on track & ensure all documentation is completed accurately.

You will be working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week based in the Winsford site, however regular travel to Head Office in Bradford will be required.

There will also be less frequent visits to Colne or Spalding.

About You

What are the responsibilities for this role?

  • Own the development process and the Critical Path at site from Concept to Launch
  • Regularly communicate & update the key stakeholders on all projects involving the site
  • Ensure all tasks are completed by all functions to keep all products in line with the critical paths
  • Work with suppliers on new raw materials, new processes & complete paperwork
  • Complete paperwork & get products ready for sample submissions & brand panels
  • Co-ordinate / attend any Factory Trials
  • Sign off pre- production runs , first production runs & attend post launch reviews
  • Attend and run Benchmarking & Tasting sessions and create action plans to address any issues
  • Attend & Circulate any actions from meetings

In addition you’ll be able to demonstrate strong project management skills.
