About The Role
You’ve got the theory, now get the practice. If you're part way through your degree course and looking to spend a year in industry, a 12 month placement with Morrisons is a great way of learning by being hands-on and getting a head start in your planned post-graduate career. 
With a 110,000 strong team and hundreds of stores nationwide, it’s important that we keep our finances in check. That’s where you come in.
Our Finance Industrial Placement is a 12-month placement based in the finance team at our Hilmore House head office in Bradford. It’s a chance to gain valuable experience of a finance department within one of the UK’s largest supermarkets. You’ll be analysing expenditure, providing insight on financial performance to non-finance stakeholders and dealing with month end close and balance sheet controls.
You’ll also gain valuable stakeholder management, leadership and team working skills. Throughout the process you’ll have an excellent support network including a Buddy to help you settle into the role.

About You
  • Great communication and listening skills and the ability to lead, influence and build strong working relationships with a diverse team of people
  • Positive attitude, resilient and driven to succeed
  • To enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  •  Be analytical and good with numbers with plenty of common sense
  • The ability to solve problems and keep your finger on the pulse of what’s happening across our business
  • A minimum of 3 A levels at Grade B or equivalent
  • Currently studying at university and on track for a 2:1 degree classification
