About The Role

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Technology Manager - Google Products & Services to join our Technology team, based at Hilmore House in Bradford.


Our naturally digital thinking is driving a change programme that will make Morrisons a digitally focused retailer. We’re making improvements across our diverse business and we’re revolutionising our online journeys and making our processes faster, simpler and smarter to provide the freshest of products and an even better experience to millions of customers and over 111,000 colleagues. As the Product Owner for the Google Suite of products, you’ll play an integral role in this change programme. You’ll be responsible for planning the future adoption and benefit realisation of this suite of products, as well as ensuring that all support/service issues are appropriately managed and resolved, and that we learn from those issues.

 

As the Technology Manager - Google Products & Services, you’ll have the following responsibilities:


  • Serve as a product expert, product evangelist, and the voice of the customer for the Google Suite of products. 

  • Own the delivery of the Google Workspace roadmap.

  • Lead the Google community to ensure adoption, inclusion and communication of product features.

  • Work cross-functionally to gather requirements, customer feedback, and communicate priorities.

  • Contribute and consult on the productivity strategy.

  • Ensure that internal and subcontracted resources maintain the installed products to an agreed level.

  • Own the technical and functional support capability of the Google Workplace products (software and hardware, including audio & visual technologies for virtual meetings).

  • Represent the function at appropriate boards (eg. Architecture Review Board).

About You

You’ll ideally have the following skills and experience:


  • Successful track record in delivery of cloud based productivity tools (ideally G Suite, but welcome applications from candidates with Microsoft Office 365 experience).

  • Ability to influence and interact with stakeholders at all work levels. 

  • Strong supplier management skills. 

  • Strong data analysis skills. 

  • Has a clear vision of the future and how to adapt to industry changes. 

  • Excellent communication skills.
