About The Role

We’re looking for a PMO Specialist to join our Technology team on a 12 month fixed term contract. You’ll be responsible for providing Programme Management Office support for the wider Technology function, ensuring that all work is tracked and planned across the Technology function.

You’ll also be responsible for:

  • Managing the flow of work into the Technology teams and managing the capacity plan for the function. 

  • Supporting weekly and monthly reviews of projects, ensuring all analysis and reports required are completed comprehensively and accurately, whilst following up on any actions required.

  • Providing simple delivery processes for working with 3rd parties and improving relationships with 3rd parties for resourcing of the programmes.

  • Working with a delivery framework flexible for different ways of working but providing control and providing process improvement. 

  • Supporting the development of agile practice communities and embedding new ways of working.

  • Providing management information for the Company on the performance of the function.

About You

You’ll ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working as a PMO Analyst.

  • An understanding and working knowledge of agile as well as waterfall delivery practices.

  • Experience of capacity planning. 

  • The ability to build relationships and engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business.

  • Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail. 

  • Excellent communication skills.

Ways of working

The wellbeing of our colleagues is really important to us and we want everyone to have a great home and work life balance. Because of this we've introduced a four day working week for all full time colleagues based at Hilmore House in Bradford.

You’ll be able to flex your working hours around the core hours of 10am-4pm, and can choose to do different hours each day as long as you’re covering these core hours. Each four day week will contain four average nine hour days.

We've also recognised the benefits of working across six days including Saturdays. To be more competitive and support our stores and sites more effectively, we now work over a six day operation, Monday to Saturday inclusive, and everyone in Hilmore House now works one Saturday in every four (or 13 a year), albeit Saturday will be a shorter working day of 6 hours.
