About The Role

The Property Maintenance Specialist will operate within the North East region and be responsible for all aspects of maintenance for the stores within the area.


This role is a field based permanent full time position operating within the North East. The individual would need to reside in the North East. 


You'll be responsible for things like this in the role;

  • Manage and respond to reactive and planned maintenance in the area assigned.
  • Raise emergency, quotes and standard work orders on Verisae system,
  • Manage the contractor base within your area, on KPI and SLA.
  • Ensure contractors respond within agreed SLA as well as back checking standards of work completed.
  • Store audits using Iaduditor to inspect and capture all maintenance issues and arrange repairs as required.
  • Audit compliance delivered by contractors and store colleagues.
  • Review L8 compliance at all sites within the area assigned.
  • Actively engage with colleagues on energy usage.
  • Conduct meetings virtually as well as on site
  • Manage and deliver a maintenance budget for revenue and capital work flows.
  • Review uplifts and quotes for best value.
  • Review and approve invoices for work completed.
  • Engage with specialists internal and external to resolve long term maintenance issues.
  • Review contractors RAMS for Health and Safety.
  • Engage with retail managers for the smooth deliver of maintenance both Planned and reactive
  • Be on weekend escalation rolling rota.
About You

You'll need skills and experience like this;


  • The candidate would reside in the North East of England.
  • Experience of managing both large and small teams.
  • Experience of delivery six figure budgets.
  • Experience of the construction industry in either trade or technical level.
  • Experience of the food retail environment.
  • Knowledge of Google platforms for email, documents and spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge and ability to use the Verisae system.
  • Use of an electronic auditing system.
  • Full Drivers licence valid for the UK.
  • Willing to stay away from home overnight as required.
