Be part of driving the Morrisons customer journey, bringing our stories to life across our stores, brands, Market Kitchen and upcoming new store propositions.
You’ll create compelling visuals, copy and imagery, leading a team of Graphic Designers using a combination of design and creative skills and experience.
This is a key role helping build and manage the design team that will develop and improve our brand, ensuring it’s executed cohesively and consistently across all brand touch points from the Morrisons logo, tone of voice, visual design ranging from our core brand through category and new business identities and assets across all channels and that communications are compelling for the customer
This is a permanent role. The working pattern is 4 days per week of 9 hours per day based in our Bradford Head Office. There is a requirement to work 1 in 4 Saturdays (6 hours) from Head Office.
You'll be responsible for things like this in the role;

Lead and manage the team ensuring collaborative working, teamwork and ensuring one team with one vision

Manage and develop a team of in-house Graphic Designers

Design and manage design projects ensuring we deliver inspiring, clear and understandable communications that articulate the business’ brand narrative, compelling stories and aspirations

Ensure all design solutions are fully researched and designed to deliver an improved customer shopping experience in our stores; put the customer at the heart of everything you do

Collaborate with the implementation teams to guide and ensure our communications and design language is accurately reflected in the built environment

Clearly articulate visual aspects of our brand ensuring there is a clear understanding of the messages required by all stakeholders

Creatively direct and effectively manage internal and external resources to deliver company expectations

Provide clear briefing on all projects, with clear expectations and timelines for completion

Development and ownership of creative guidelines and store design standards for stores, and digital/marketing channels that are fit for purpose and appropriate to our brand ambitions
