About The Role

Here at Morrisons, Salesforce is our biggest store of customer data and we use it business wide. We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to join our Technology team to help shape the technical roadmap for Salesforce as well as help manage incidents and service requests. 

You’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • Proactively make recommendations for improvements in the way we use Salesforce to ensure we get the most out of the platform.

  • Help troubleshoot, resolve and track Salesforce end-user issues, providing third-line support where necessary.

  • Be the technical lead for Salesforce within the Marketing Technology Team.

  • Deliver first-class Salesforce solutions, which are secure, appropriately tested, perform well, and provide an engaging customer experience.

  • Performing regular platform maintenance, ensuring we have a healthy Salesforce platform. 

  • Assist in the development and training of Junior Developers and Administrators in the team.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement in software delivery, coding practices, application quality, customer experience and agile processes.

  • Identify and champion the resolution of technical debt.

  • Keep yourself up-to-date on new Salesforce features and functionalities.

About You

You’ll ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working as a Salesforce Developer. 

  • Full-stack experience of using Salesforce, including both declarative and coding approaches. 

  • Salesforce certifications - Salesforce Administrator and Platform App Builder.

  • Experience of working with Salesforce in a CI/CD environment, using technology such as Jenkins, Git, Github etc.  

  • Knowledge and experience of using SFDX would be highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work and communicate with stakeholders at all levels. 

About The Company

New Ways of Working

The wellbeing of our colleagues is really important to us and we want everyone to have a great home and work life balance. Because of this we've introduced a four day working week for all full time colleagues based at Hilmore House in Bradford.

You’ll be able to flex your working hours around the core hours of 10am-4pm, and can choose to do different hours each day as long as you’re covering these core hours. Each four day week will contain four average nine hour days.

We've also recognised the benefits of working across six days including Saturdays. To be more competitive and support our stores and sites more effectively, we now work over a six day operation, Monday to Saturday inclusive, and everyone in Hilmore House now works one Saturday in every four (or 13 a year), albeit Saturday will be a shorter working day of 6 hours.
