About The Role

We’ve got a fantastic job for a Shift Coordinator to join our Winsford manufacturing site. Reporting to the Shift Manager, the role is working 48 hours per week, on a days based shift, typically working Wednesday-Saturday 0530 - 1600.

Requirements of the Job
As a Shift Coordinator - Manufacturing you will be reviewing daily production plans and putting together efficient running orders to meet the plan and ensure delivery on time in full. You will ensure that labour plans are in place and reviewing them on a daily, weekly and 6 weekly basis to ensure appropriate resources are allocated to run the plan. You'll ensure all stakeholders are fully aware of production status and that work planning and objectives are integrated, communicated and deliverable. Shift coordinators generate daily/weekly information to support performance review of operation and improvement activities, and perform weekly reviews of promo schedule to ensure it is achievable and all required materials/system updates are available at start of promo launch. You will also work with new product development teams to coordinate and plan trials.

About our Winsford Manufacturing Site

Winsford was acquired by Morrisons in 2012 and sits on 12 acres of land. Having undergone extension in 2014 the site now operates 30 production lines, operating 24 hours a day 7 days a week employing 800 colleagues. The site produce over 900 tons / 2 million packs of beef, pork, lamb, mince and burgers per week.
