About The Role
We’re recruiting for an experienced and fully qualified Accountant with industry experience to join us on a permanent basis in one of our Manufacturing divisions. The role is a fixed term contract position based at our Spalding site.

In the role you will be working closely with the operations teams on site. You will be responsible for the weekly performance reports for the site and key stakeholder to site projects for improvements and control. You’ll need to be able to understand the factory and help articulate how operational performance drives the financial statements, along with supporting end to end working between the commercial team and the factory. 

You will be accountable for things like this in the role; 

  • Producing the headline weekly Pack detailing financial and operational performance. Ensuring that management information evoles to be relevant and insightful, and is communicated clearly.
  • To improve stakeholder understanding of the financial performance.
  • Working on reporting to compare performance to budget, and year on year position.
  • Exercising control over factory costs and processes. Helping the site finance team drive accountability into the right teams and supporting those teams with the delivery of their targets.
  • Play a part in driving the operation forwards to deliver our short, medium and long term goals. 
About You

To be successful in the role you’ll need skills and experience like this; 

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).

  • Industry experience, ideally in a manufacturing business, of period end and annual management accounting. Oracle experience would be an advantage.

  • You’ll be dealing with operational managers as your stakeholders so you’ll need to be able to manage your stakeholders in a challenging environment. 

  • You will also need to ensure the operators understand the financials so strong communication and presentation skills are essential.

  • Ability to build networks across functions and in different locations.
