Accountant - Online Store Pick

As an accountant within Online Store Pick you will be responsible for providing financial expertise across a number of cost lines with the Online P&L.

.

• Accurate reporting and insight across a number of different cost lines within the Online P&L, including, but not limited to; marketing, payroll, productivity, fleet and head office.

• Developing and maintaining relationships with numerous stakeholders in the Online operations team, to understand their needs.

• Period end duties include; accurate completion of multiple balance sheets, variance analysis, working with other finance teams, and posting of journals.

• Producing budgets for a variety of cost lines with the Online P&L.

• Working on projects, providing financial expertise to help the Online team grow sales and improve the efficiency of the business.

• Coaching and mentoring finance graduates within the Online team.

Role Specific Knowledge, skills and experience

We are looking for a Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) to join us with a good foundation in either Management or Financial Accounting. Previous commercial experience and a good appreciation of information systems is desirable although not essential.

The successful candidate should also possess the following skills and competencies:
