About The Role

You will support the Commercial Manufacturing team, providing financial expertise to support and challenge the Team in order to deliver profitable growth for Myton Food Group, part of the Morrisons family.

You will be working in a dynamic and fast paced environment supporting a team of commercial stakeholders on selling and sourcing for the group.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reporting and tracking key commodity price changes and the impact this is having
  • Supporting decision making through delivering accurate analysis and insight 
  • Evaluating results to ensure there is clear understanding of business performance
  • Participating in the preparation and review of new business tenders
  • Play a key role in developing and following up on ‘gap closing’ activities to ensure performance is delivered in line with expectations
  • Identifying and Implementing improvements to ways of working within the Manufacturing Finance Teams
  • Participate in cross functional project groups
  • Providing ad hoc Finance support
  • Ensuring the application of operational and financial controls

About You

  • An accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
  • The confidence & ability to challenge non-finance stakeholders to deliver the right end-results
  • Good verbal communication skills, ability to articulate financial data in a clear and transparent way
  • Resilience and the ability to adapt in an ever changing environment
  • Attention to detail skills
