About The Role

We're recruiting for a Finance Manager at Greenside, the UK's biggest fresh foods factory.

You'll form a key member of the site senior management team. Leading a site based Finance team (comprising of one Accountant and an Assistant Accountant) you will work together to provide weekly/monthly financial information and support the cost effective and efficient operations of the site.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Being proactive in identifying financial risks and opportunities for departments so that managers across the business can respond to them on a timely basis.
Providing direction and development to direct reports, managing performance and prioritising deliverables.
Sharing financial information to support financial reporting, control, transaction processing and decision making.
Reporting and performing periodic operational reviews.

For this role, we're looking for someone who:

Thrives in a fast paced, operational environment where you can add value and enhance reporting and controls.
Has some previous people management experience.
Holds an Accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent)
Can demonstrate experience of business partnering with stakeholders across finance but also from other operational divisions

At the UK’s biggest fresh foods factory, we produce our bacon, quiches, pies, sausages, gammon and cooked meats.

Here at our 400,000 square foot site, our 1,500-strong team produces 277 fresh food products. Operating 24/7, they run 44 production lines and manage six different operations all under one roof in our state-of-the-art building. Every day 72 vehicles leave packed full of our freshly prepared products.
