About The Role

As a Finance Manager at Winsford, one of our leading food manufacturing sites, you will form a key member of the site senior management team. Leading a site based Finance team (comprising of one Accountant and an Assistant Accountant) you will work together to provide weekly/monthly financial information and support the cost effective and efficient operations of the site.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Being proactive in identifying financial risks and opportunities for departments so that managers across the business can respond to them on a timely basis
Providing direction and development to direct reports, managing performance and prioritising deliverables
Sharing financial information to support financial reporting, control, transaction processing and decision making
Reporting and performing periodic operational reviews

This is a hybrid role operating over a four day working week*. In Winsford, we produce over 220 different meat products, including burgers, mince, pork steaks, ox cheeks, pork sizzle steaks and delicious rump and rib eye steaks. Our 18,000 square foot site on 12 acres of land is home to 30 production lines. The localised finance team are an an key component to the site's daily operations.

Thrives in a fast paced, operational environment where you can add value and enhance reporting and controls
Has some previous people management experience
Holds an Accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent)
Can demonstrate experience of business partnering with stakeholders across finance but also from other operational divisions
